Yummy, cant beat field mushies 
My basic weeding rule: if they grow in rows they're flowers; if they don't they're weeds.

They look great. years ago I was at a park and saw some field mushrooms growing around a tree, I thought hey cool, so I picked them and took them home and cooked them up. They were the real deal too, but afterwards it occurred to me how risky that was so I vowed never to do it again

nah...they're alright. remember when pie-guy wanted to eat the mushrooms that popped up in his front yard? didn't we all research it then? wasn't light coloured mushrooms with brown gills the safe ones? pink gills the killers? those look pinky-brown. should be exciting!

All those in the photo came from the same mushroom ring,the smaller ones go darker brown as they age. |

If you are sure then that fine. Us city slickers as not sure so best we dont eat what comes up in the garden..

I would never eat any that come up in my patch in the tropics.I know my southern mushies and what not to eat but tropics I won't trust them

BUGGERThey had lots small worms in them and had to biff them. I much prefer the spring mushies as they dont dont have the bugs
Thanks for your concern M A but i've spent years eating wild mushrooms and i just love them,i know what to look for |
