Yummy, cant beat field mushies

My basic weeding rule: if they grow in rows they're flowers;
if they don't they're weeds.

They look great. years ago I was at a park and saw some field mushrooms growing around a tree, I thought hey cool, so I picked them and took them home and cooked them up. They were the real deal too, but afterwards it occurred to me how risky that was so I vowed never to do it again

Be careful with them wild mushrooms

nah...they're alright.
remember when pie-guy wanted to eat the mushrooms that popped up in his front yard?
didn't we all research it then?
wasn't light coloured mushrooms with brown gills the safe ones?
pink gills the killers?
those look pinky-brown.
should be exciting!

Well said Pamela,scaredy cats alright

All those in the photo came from the same mushroom ring,the smaller ones go darker brown as they age.
