Another big band coming across here this morning and I should get about 5mm I thinks

Looks like another drizzly day here, A very welcome 9mm in the gauge this morning, also two short showers since one wet me..

After I cleaned the chook house out I went to plant some cos lettuce seeds and I could not get the little silver packet to reopen up I needed a knife as my fingers and hands are bad today, puts it back in my pocket goes and looks for a knife finally opens it to see there are only about six seeds in it so I plant them write a label go back up into the house take the marking pen out of my pocket and felt something else there dig deeper, and what do I find a few hundred lettuce seeds I though I had more than the six I planted .. I think it is going to be one of these day..

Still a drizzly day here, not a lot of rain just light misty stuff. The tropicals would love it if it was warmer but the cooler temps are going to slow them down.

Cheryl, I see by the forecasts that you should get a couple of showery days... hope you get lots

It has been lucky to reach 25C here the last few days... too cold for the tropicals as they prefer it at least 27 or 28+... at least the nights have been nice I know we will get a few more warm days before winter but this will send the message to the plants that it is time to start slowing down. Even the crepe myrtle is starting to get quite a few autumn coloured leaves.
