Hamish doesn't know what to do, whether to go out to sea or come back in. Don't think we are going to get too much, he is a little too far of the coast to dump much rain. We had 19mm yesterday and overnight but only light drizzly stuff. Winds were gusty yesterday but only a light breeze this morning and very light showers. They are saying he could come back into the coast in a day or so but as a smaller weaker cat 1 cyclone... just have to wait and see.

Yes as Gail said there is not much rain around we got a lousy 4.5mm over night, its very blowy though so the nice clean looking garden has leaves and twigs/branches everywhere I see Tony going around with the wheelbarrow picking them up, that's a job I hate no good for the back I tell you, he is welcome to it and he knows it
It was drizzly on and off earlier certainly nothing to get excited about just wish the tank would fill up to where it was before..

Its been a drizzly kind of day all day, so good for working in the garden did lots more things today that I would not have been able to do if it was warm with a high humidity..
Actually I am enjoying this cooler weather its such a change..
Reminds me of Summers in Melbourne year ago which is not like the Summers down there the past few years..
And where has Hamish gone further out to sea I guess..

They are still predicting rain here for the next few days, I haven't had a look to see what you are supposed to get though. Not much here today - about 5mms I think - but supposed to be up to 20mm tomorrow.

So I probably shouldn't mention the 3 1/2 inches of rain we've had over the last 2 days.....
