A couple of our bigger frangis that are growing strongly don't flower much... putting too much effort into growing... and they don't get fed. I'd rather go for growth at this stage anyway, plenty of time for flowers when they get big enough.

This one is big Gail and very big long leaves on it too, thick branches and the thickest trunk I have seen on a plant that age.
Its pretty and so different.. Have a look http://www.plumeriagallery.com/catalog_i6254315.html?catId=248096

I love the pink around the edges of the petals its so different to all my others..
Cheryl forget what I said about feeding the Frangipani, I did a lot of reading last night and apparently they like a bit of food its just so confusing some sites say feed a lot, or they wont grow the multiple stems so they can flower, sunlight is another thing they need to be in the sun all the time especially in the cooler climates.
So I am going to feed mine when they get that new growth in Mid Spring, Mid Summer, and perhaps mid Autumn as I have noticed since I started feeding them especially the Darwin Yellow that they have grown so much more.. I feel they need all the help they can get while young due to the bad soil we have in this garden, where the locals dumped their rubbish for twenty years.
I dont feed the tall white or one of the large Fruit Salad plants, though some of the smaller FS dont seem to be growing at all and have been in three years same as a couple of the pinks, planted in out of the way places they miss out on lots of things..
