Usually needs a combination of a few clouds and some smoke or haze to get that colour sky.

Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit, wisdom is knowing not to use it in a fruit salad.

A friend lives in Millerton, what horrible place, its up on hill 500m above sea level,15 kms from the beach and when it rains which it does a lot(5000mm per year)you are up in the clouds as well,i stayed there once when i was in my 20`s and for about 5 days it didn`t stop raining the for the time i was there, can see why they smoke so many drugs there,i would go mad in a place like that.
Any way try this address and have a look at street view
Calliope St,Millerton,West Coast,New Zealand sorry i had Millerton spelt wrong, hey we are doing well with this thread, from sunsets to hippies

I don't know how we got onto hippies but interesting anyway

Here are a couple more sunset photos - these two were taken in May just before a storm rolled in from the north (usually get storms from the west)

These are a couple of sunrise photos taken in August. The 2nd one was taken about an hour after the first when the sun was up

What's wrong with hippies? They would see those sunsets and sunrises in psychadaelic colours

Some beauties there Val. Were they all taken the same day or different days?

Not much in Sunsets where I live too many trees and powerlines.

Went up on the hill in the next suburb to take some but no pretty clouds.
So not the same..
