I was sitting here half asleep browsing quietly through active posts and came across this loud SLURP... I'm awake now!!!

I've got a trip to town later but other than that there is just the usual I do have to get one daughter to school by 6.45am this morning as her class is going on an excursion to the big smoke (Brisbane) today. It is 2 and half hours drive and they have to be where they are going by 10am.

I tried to save myself a trip taking the other kids to school - told them they all had to be ready by 6.45 but somehow I don't think so

Yeah, thanks for that, Richard.

It is just a day trip, bus is expected back around 5pm. She is going to be tired and also probably have a few bruises... they stop at the ice-skating rink for an hour or so on the way home That part is supposed to be a reward as they spend the rest of the day doing educational things such as visiting kindergarten... oops sorry, I mean parliament house and a couple of other places.

I feel sorry for you helping out at the school camp Richard. I know what the teachers have to put up with

Tessa, know how you feel, I have only just gotten over a cold that the kids decided to share ... that was straight on top of sinusitis a couple of weeks ago. Luckily it wasn't a bad cold, just annoying. Take plenty of garlic and it will be gone in no time... you also won't spread it as no one will be game to go near you
