Well each to their own I guess, however it was made clear when we employed him , hours to compensate his children were, 7.30 to 4pm, he is lucky to start at 8am and is gone prior to 3.30, we are a business not a creche Plus this is not his first offense either yes I feel for him as I was a single Mum and had to org. my boy and was had especially with all the school holidays etc... but you get by and without work there is mortgage met or food on the table, maybe I should have rented, boy they get heaps in rental assistance these day and my morg. was higher than the average rent too

2 girls Richard, 2 different Mums as well , one goes to school, and the other day care as far as I know, both go to a carer in the morning and after school, but have to be collected by a certain time, I found the before and after school care in house much better as they open at 6am and close at 6pm and all funded via centrelink as well for low income earners Then you get a call saying 'sorry the carer is sick and will be in late and have to leave early, our days are determined the day prior and some times days prior, so relaiable staff is a must in our industry

Saturdays as cash in hand , maybe a few less beers each night, take aways and fags might also help YES I know I'm harsh, but hey been there and done that for 16 years on my own, no Mum no nothing, and I cant feel sorry for him just because he's a bloke , What I can make out his Mum has them a bit during the school hols, most Friday nights so he can go out on the piss or what ever and Alt. Sats ??? All I'm trying to say is he knew the work conditions before he started and what was requited of him, no one else seems to care other than getting their pay slip every week We;; sorry not all, but a few Oi Gwen you got an icon with a bee in a bonnet I need one LOL, Lost count of how many times he calls me Sat arco, Oi Cheryl does this last bin really need to be pick up , Derrrr of course it does, because he has got a hang over

hey lorraine.... actually the friends and family were GREAT. wow. what a difference to check their work over the dumb bloke yesterday. dumb bloke would not even look me in the eye today. gave me a very wide berth. good thing too...cuz i had dreams all night over it. was ready to do real bodily harm. but since i did such a good job cleaning up his mess yesterday, i got a special thankyou from the team, and then was trusted to do the actual stock input on the system. that was nice. they made me feel pretty good.
for the record...since i'm a peon and the dumb bloke is a peon too...i'm fairly sure we're on the same pay scale. but i will definitely be asking for some recognition in my review.

they still have the service badges, lorraine. i've earned 6 of them so far...and only been there a few months. the blokes are all up in arms about it cuz many of them have been there for years and not had a single one between them. of course, not surprising....cuz you have to go out of your way far enough for a customer to go out of their way and fill out that tedious form to recommend you for the award.

thats great Tessa you are going really well then we used to find that if the bosses here had favourites, the customer forms used to dissappear , I know this happened as a few times a customer would come up to a couple of us and tell us they had popped a form in the box and wanted to know how we went , we had no idea what they were talking about
then worked it out that the boss was taking them out and being selective on who was awarded and who wasnt so customers started sending them off to head office instead some pretty shonky things went on over here |
