This still to be completed archway will be wide enough to drive a car through,i have already set steel rods in concrete to support the frame work that will be made of Manuka,a native NZ wood that above ground will last 30 - 40 years, can't be used below ground.
The name of the climbing rose to the right is i have no idea, its red and its still alive after having the crap blown out of it by not having any support.Hang in there rose, this project will be completed soon i promise.
As for those two in the photo, couldn`t have planed it better,Jay was just standing there watching me take the photo and cat (Duncan)comes strutting along. There's another thread just in Duncans recent three month disappearance.

It will look great when it is all finished Richard

What are those green bally plants ?? They look a bit like Dianthus

My basic weeding rule: if they grow in rows they're flowers;
if they don't they're weeds.

They are Dianthus yep,i`m making a hill from our non recyclables and plan to have the hill planted in them, red one end, pink the other, then blend the colours in the middle, but also the area will be planted fully in Gladiolis.
Its one of these,(watch this space) thingies

Nice to see puddles on the driveway Richard...

Cute pets, lovely entrance, great plants look at that green grass.
Why am I saying that mine is green too.
And what roses are you going to have over your delightful Arch..

Put a pic of your rose on here and ask for ID someone may know it.
A closer up one of the flower and the leaves...

I hope so Cheryl and we can have lots of fun and liven it up a bit..

Richard I am curious as to what non-recyclables are in/under that hill you mention.. Its a marvelous way to get rid of broken pipes and bricks, concrete, old tins, plastic swimming pools and surrounds dogs bones, bottles, broken tiles and pipes, a BBQ grill plate, pieces of cars and the list goes on, that's what we found under the hill of soil down our back that we had to move when the contractor came and quoted us on the back fence 3/4 of it was on our side and 1/4 on the other vacant block and of course we had to move it all.

I would have left it there had it been on the side of the block, and made some kind of waterfall with a pond at the bottom of it.

Are you two finished?,come on back to Rose ok.This is the rose that i may remember what the name is if some one can come up with a name or two.

Non Recyclables. From that extensive list M A give, the following is NOT in my hill.
Any car components of any kind, summing pools,(but there is a crappy Chinese made tent buried),dog bones(they go in fire for fertilizer),BBQ gill plates.
What`s in the hill that's NOT in M A list.
lots of crappy Chinese made xmas toys that crapped out on boxing day, thanks to the relatives, two kids bikes, along with house hold rubbish,Beer bottles only make a small %,...really,....honestly.

I`ve made this photo lager so the flower stands out a bit, sorry i have a crap camera.
