Not much in the veggie garden at present..
Last week we ran out of the 2nd lot of Cukes we planted so had to buy them
These next lot of three vines are a little slow.

Then I found the first little one.

So Tony planted another three..

Basil, Volunteer Tomatoes, and Spring Onions in this little bed

No idea what they are..

I ripped out all the radish plants today.
I think Tony has been putting too much chook poo in the compost bin.
And root crops dont like that..

Next lot of Spring Onions are in, pics of those in the Tomato forum.

The two bunches of bananas are very slow too, this one looks the ripest.

Tony is taking all the soil out of the beds and putting new in.
Its coming from the chook yard that the girls bath in..
I hope no tomato plants pop up from the compost this time

Those bananas look nice, what do home grown ones taste like compared to shop bought ones.

I`ve found that radishes love the compost from the chock pen

All looking good Mary-Anne

Doing well MA, I will let my cucumbers climb next season as I cant find them I find most self sown tommies usually turn out to be cherry ones, I have one in my front rose bed, no fruit as yet

My basic weeding rule: if they grow in rows they're flowers;
if they don't they're weeds.

Cukes Yes we always have them climbing they would probably go rotten on the ground here like some of those white melons..
