I have lots it pots the the lovely MA sent to me, would it hurt to pop them into the garden now, I have so many bare spots to fill

My basic weeding rule: if they grow in rows they're flowers;
if they don't they're weeds.

I dig up and plant anything anytime even from the garden beds give them a shower of seasol and just keep the water up to them, or just keep your eye on them they will be fine

I have all yours still in pots MA, might wait for a few days for the weather to cool of a bit and make a nice border with them Shame I never got more out of the bins knowing what I know now, they where fine in the hot weather

Daylilies love it hot and can handle nearly anything you can chuck at them. Mine went through a very hot dry summer - high 30s/low 40s and hot dry winds - a couple of years ago without any watering and came through without a problem. Didn't have a lot of flowers but they were only young plants then anyway.

Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit, wisdom is knowing not to use it in a fruit salad.

A ounce of common sense is worth more than a ton of intelligence.
