My seeds arrived safely. THANKS Tessa. Now I will have to start planning my tomato gardens for next summer. I've only got about 10 square meters in total so its all a bit of a squeeze. Big parts of it get no sun from end of April so I need to be clever about my plantings.

tony, as i recall, tigerella was not a very large plant. but then again...i wasn't a very good tomato gardener back then either.

I was out pruning back some of the dead leaves of the tomatos yesterday and now that they are going over a 8 foot fence I thought that maybe they could just keep going up onto a gently sloping roof! That would increase my garden space enormously.

Great idea Tony. You can also set up some big hanging baskets then the fruit could hang down and won't need staking

Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit, wisdom is knowing not to use it in a fruit salad.
