Remember the walk on the foreshore/footpath up at Coolum in October When some pieces of Gazania got caught in my sandals..
This is one of those pieces its a White one.

Even lighter than the one Cheryl sent me..

And with the black markings around the centre I like it.. I am a little short on white flowers here so its staying..

Oh I agree there Cheryl.. Two more pieces got stuck in them too.. Those are planted under a tree, too much shade so no flowers yet

Nice one.

MA .You do remind me of my mother who used to go out walking in public gardens or along any street. She would always come home with pieces of plants just big enough to strike .She always explaimed it this way. I was walking along the path and a shrub was growing out obstructing my way so I had to remove a piece or two to pass , it was a hazard so I only did my public duty .I could'nt just throw the branch away and become a litter bug so thats why I brought it home. I am sure my Mum had plenty of like minded conservationists doing their bit as good citizens .PITTA.

I like that Gwen..
Usually I am a giver not a taker but what is a girl suppose to do when she kind of trips up on a piece of Gazania, like your Mum I could not leave it there for someone else to trip up on now could I..
They grow like weeds up there even in the cracks on the footpath I dont think they would have missed any

i totally agree MA , you are to be congratulated for being so civic minded and never to be a litterer.Take home any green stuff that gets accidently caught in your sandal ,you would'nt like someone else to trip on vegetation left lying about. Pitta.

I reckon we are saving the Councils money by doing that, what if someone did trip up on a piece of plant and sued them, I am sure it has been done before..
