Saw this strange looking insect on the tiles in the laundry this morning. It was very small - wingspan would be about 7 or 8mm wide - so couldn't get a clear picture.

never seen one like that, a bit tatty looking

My basic weeding rule: if they grow in rows they're flowers;
if they don't they're weeds.

An insect variety of a Triffid LOL

I've been searching for this one but I can't find it yet. I'm not even sure what sort of insect it is I wish I could have got better pics from the front and eyes but couldn't without trying to move it and risk it flying away. I'm not giving up though... yet!

Amazing - isn't nature the most wondrous thing! INteresting to know how those appendages work for it. They do not look very easy to manage.
