Looking good

Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit, wisdom is knowing not to use it in a fruit salad.

A ounce of common sense is worth more than a ton of intelligence.

What an amazing looking garden you have, must be the wind we get up here on the hill in Chch, NZ - my garden never has the height that other peoples do. Comforted to know that in Melbourne you are only just getting tomatoes too, I would have thought with your hotter climate that you would be weeks and weeks ahead. I often think Canterbury has a similar climate to Melbourne only you guys are 10 degrees warmer all year round.

A good year is when more things get harvested than die!

Well done Cheryl..

Having lived in the NE suburbs of Melbourne for 45 years with the Plenty River down the back so a cool spot, I know all about the tomatoes that you hope are on the dinner table at Christmas time to find they never made it, many a time we planted them late to find them still burnt by a late frost.

They are worth waiting for anyway so are the zucchini's ...Enjoy

12 months old, was too late early last year for tommies, and tried to grow a few winter veggies without much success, will have another bash later this year

most of the green on the ground is just weedy stuff, few dry patches, zoom browser works well when it comes to greening piccies up
