This Liriope is still flowering..

And much to my surprise this Kangaroo Paw has come back to life again
Its only about 30cms tall now used to be 180cms but has a few flower stems on it..

Lucky about the kangaroo paws. The liriopes are pretty too, mine are still flowering well also.

Thanks Gail I thought the Kangaroo Paw had died for sure after all that rain (please come again) we had in November and Early December,it went very black and I was sure it was rotten then came the new little green shoots I was so pleased as its a lovely plant, not so much of it there now hopefully it will multiply again and very soon..

Yes that Liriope is another pretty Native and stays in flower for many months.

Nice ones, my Lip. has never flowered

My basic weeding rule: if they grow in rows they're flowers;
if they don't they're weeds.

Maybe that could be the problem Cheryl.
Being a Aussie it may want to stretch out and visit other parts of the garden.

MA i'm surprised you can grow Kangaroo Paws in Brisbane . I thought they only grew in WA ,obviously not as they are alive and well in your garden.They look nice, always look like velvet to me.Pitta.
