I hate it when the leaves drop from the fruit trees, makes a bloody mess

My basic weeding rule: if they grow in rows they're flowers;
if they don't they're weeds.

The one you gave me Mary-Anne is still doing well. I took some cuttings from it a while ago which are surviving... for now.

The good thing about deciduous trees... they make their own mulch

Thats great Gail.. Forgive me when I say I cannot remember if I gave you one.
You would understand as you give away so many plants/bulbs/cuttings also.

I do the same, can never remember what I send.

My crepe myrtles colour up really well in autumn, they put on a good display and are a good one for Qld autumn colour.

Gwen, I am going to the PO hopefully early next week so, depending on whether there is a cyclone causing floods, I will send you those plants I have promised you. If there looks like there will be hold-ups because of floods, I will hold off a little longer.

I'm pretty sure I took a pic of mine last autumn. I'll have a look later and see if I can find it.

Thank you Gail,maybe better to hold off for a bit to see how Hamish behaves .
I don't remember what plants I said I would like , there's a senior moment
maybe I should write notes in a book.
