now it's stardate 14109...according to my star trek calendar.... and i say:
blimey what we thought was rats was
possums the reason i figure that is because something...like a bleeding possum has ever-so-carefully untied and removed (flawlessly) the little tule bag that was protecting the biggest grub's mystery green i've grown so far... and then ATE HALF OF IT while it still hung from the vine.

What a cheeky little... thing... I was going to say something else but thought I'd better not! I'd have to admit it was clever though.

While I sit and gaze daily at my lot picture here.....
 sub arctics just about ready....
and pink brandy wines, my first ever proper tomato - ie not a cherry one you lucky green fingered tomato munchers are already sick of tomatoes I can't beleive it. I nearly have corn. This is an experiment as I wasnt sure if I could grow it or not - but next year will plant alot more

My stone fruit may have failed completely but my new apple trees are looking good, especially the ballerina which only went in last winter... it's the one in the foreground you can just see the top of....
Richard you will notice sick peas in background
A good year is when more things get harvested than die! |
