Because I am not sure I'll get seed from this plant - not much fruit or blossom - I have taken a lateral and planted it. Wish me luck everyone. We got blossom drop here, probably caused by the two inches of rain a while back.
Tessa, someone gave me one called White Beauty not so long ago, do you think it could be the same white you are talking about? |

Tessa, I can only spare half a dozen White Beauty seeds, I wasn't given many, but if you mean you'd grow them now then just send me your addy in a PM and I'll get them straight off to you. If you can spare me any of your white ones I would try growing them now too. mcsee and others were planting up till Xmas and you don't lose much if they don't make it I guess.
Mary-Anne, yours could easily have been Toms Yellow Wonder too. It really is a scrumptious tomato. I'll ask Mantis when he got it originally. |

Sorry I feel as though I am taking over your topic.. Here is another pic from that era
I think there were six different varieties in this one.. Don't remember the names but a pale Cherokee purple next to the two Persimmons

| Lovely colour, the Persimmons, aren't they? If I read one of your post right and you still have seeds for that, could I get say even a couple off you, please? I still have all sorts coming on, for instance planted White Beauty and Yellow Pear only yesterday. Have Rouge De Marmande and Anna Russian still just seedlings. Optomistic, aren't I? Or addicted? LOL. |
