Sometimes it so hard to tell Pitta because their pics are not the best I went mainly by shape of the web, the size of the spider and the markings looked the same, though the colours were wrong but that maybe because mine is a female and the one on that site is a male or visa versa you never know.
I don't think I have seen that one before its just that it was right in my face when I was taking pics of those flowers above, we get lots of different spiders here most would be the orb spiders and the St Andrews Cross ones, then there is those big huntsmans we find in the shed I am always on the lookout for them when I am taking pics in the early morn.
