I have a long row of about 150 callistemon called "Pink Perth" which apparently was bred in Perth of all places. It is, in my humble opinion, the nicest thing about my garden. I also have a row of "Pink Alma" in front of these and the double row is nothing short of stunning. So stunning that I want to fill the holes that are there and also extend it.
I have tried cuttings - even got a horticulturalist to do some cuttings for me and maybe they are still green many months later but it is not a sure thing.
Apparently the eastern nurseries can no longer get this from Perth. I would be ever so grateful if one of you would ask a native nursery and maybe even the BIg Green Shed?
I will pay well for a shop to send a couple of plants to me if this is possible.
As this is such a stunning tree, I cannot understand why it has stopped being produced.

Hi Pamela, I can contact a couple of the main native nurseries here or do you want their contact details so you can contact them? It might be easier that way so you get an answer straight away and they could tell you the shipping costs if they can do it. I'll leave the big green shed to tessa since she's "on the inside"
Pamela I've just looked up the details for the two I were thinking of in case you check back in the morning.
Lulfitz Native Nursery - they're a native production nursery so they propogate a lot of plants (mainly WA natives), they also have a retail side aswell. (08) 9405 1607
Zanthorrea Native Nursery - this is the place to go if you're looking for something specific, especially cultivars and hybrids etc. (08) 9454 6260
There probably are a few other smaller ones around but these are the two best ones
