Getting there mine are covered in small green ones too, only half their final size yet.

Mine are a bit slower...still have the wee flowers on mine.....they seem to droop into other plants a lot....oops perhaps more of my overcrowding problem....can't wait to see the blue berries.

The berries get fairly large, especially compared to the size of the flowers, up to about 1cm.

Does overcrowding make any difference Jacqueline
Lots of my plants are like that, clumps look better than one plant.
Even squashed up next to a plant that is no relation..

That's small pea size Gail not fully matured, so a little way to go yet.

The first of the blue berries. These ones aren't as big as usual this time - only about 6 or 7mm across.

As fast as these berries coloured up the birds ate then.
They must be full of something as they left these ones alone..

These berries are more a purple than that blue your berries are Gail..
They would be the one cm wide.

Birds don't seem to worry about our berries much, a few disappear but not many. Mine get a fair bit of shade now so could affect the colour of the berries but I find the colour doesn't show up as well in pictures as it doesn't capture the "glow" - they are like little neon lights.

Is that Dianella Nigra? It's native here too, I planted some just last year underneath some lancewood, I love them, mine have there berries turning purple now.

A good year is when more things get harvested than die!

nice ones MA, cute berries

My basic weeding rule: if they grow in rows they're flowers;
if they don't they're weeds.

I have no idea which one it is as it was here when we moved here but I'm more inclined to think it is revoluta.
