It looks interesting. I had a quick look and will come back and read it properly later.

Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit, wisdom is knowing not to use it in a fruit salad.

I see they planted Lantana I wonder if it was the weedy one.. I cannot believe I recognized just about every plant by its correct name, between my garden here and in Townsville I have grown almost every plant mentioned except Lantana even the Palms.. Very interesting Gwen Thanks.

It does describe the Qld gardens I remember when I was a kid and still see around Gympie. This is an old historical town with many 'Qlders' that have the huge old poinciana and huge frangipani with the mango in the backyard... the article describes these houses well. I love driving around at this time of year when they are all flowering.

The last paragraph also descibes the modern Qld gardens perfectly...
