My seduction totems have lots most of their leaves , but it will grow back I guess

My basic weeding rule: if they grow in rows they're flowers;
if they don't they're weeds.

They are now in the new roses bed since Winter, maybe lack of water not sure, but can see new growth

Yes it could be the dry weather, like I said on top my roses love the rain..

Good that you are getting new leaves though, but most important have you had any rain..

You have a beautiful garden, Mary-Anne. I don't want Standards here, far too windy now with this global warming, but I have La Sevillana as a bush rose and think it's a beauty. Your path and arch are great, what rose is on the arch?

Seems to do well everywhere, doesn't it? Crepescule I mean. I nearly did a stupid thing. Planted a Golden Showers and a Zepherine Drouhin then totally forgot I'd done it. They get 10 out of 10 for not dying of thirst before I remembered. LOL.

Yes it does Betty and on the left there are five 20/25 metre Gum trees so it does not see much sunlight so that's another plus.. Even after being told by a rose grower on GardenWeb that it will not survive unless it gets at least six hours of sunlight I told him it will be OK and it is just goes to show all those rose books were written for the Northern Hemisphere

I think it was a photo of yours that prompted me to buy it, Cheryl. Thanks for that.

That much sunlight in parts of Australia would probably kill it, Mary-Anne. LOL. I reckon it's getting worse and even the owner of a local nursery said he thinks that some things are going to have to be grown under shade cloth in future, plants that never were before I mean.

Yes I totally understand what you mean Betty Global warming and all that, my Queen Elizabeth and Double Delight Rose do not like the sun at all even with all the rain we are getting, the edges of the petals fry and go crisp..
