Another frangi has started flowering - a little pink one.

It is smaller than the others - here it is next to a normal tri-colour

The red and the white are flowering well (yes, I know you have all seen them before but I like them )

Anthurium 'Amethyst' - starts off deep purple but fades after a while. It is only a small flower.

Philodendron scandens aureum is a pretty golden green colour and new growth has a reddish blush

Gardenia radicans - this one was here when we moved here and has some of that common fern growing through it (which is farily well behaved). It is growing beside the path.

I'm not normally into the double hibiscus, though love the singles, but I love this double pink that Mary-Anne gave me... and it doesn't need any special care like many of the modern ones do.

Nice selection there Gail but I think you already know what ones are my favs.

My basic weeding rule: if they grow in rows they're flowers;
if they don't they're weeds.

Pamela, I can see a frangi sitting in a pot next to your pool in full hot sun in summer (water once every week or two) and sitting undercover in winter

I agree Gail a Frangipani would look good next to the pool..

Pamela there are plenty of people that grow them in cold climates not that I would call where you live cold. I have a friend in Denmark from the Plumeria US GW Forum who emails me every few months in the flowering season with pics of his beautiful plants there are also plenty of people in Canada and England who grow them in pots also.

Cheryl grows them in Melbourne so they cant be that difficult.

Perhaps have another go..

That anthurium is my favourite colour of the ones I have but it seems to attract the dogs for some reason... I'm sure the dogs search for it so they can trample on that one plant.

Ed, that philo is actually starting to do something at last. It sat for ages looking scrawny but its only been in the last few months that it has taken off.

Pitta, you must have posted at the same time as me. I will put another pic on when it opens out more.

Also thanks all

Gorgeous photos as usual Gail. The flowers and plants are so lovely you could hardly manage a bad photo BUT some skill is involved and you have the talent as shown by these new shots! I love the pink frangipani with the yellow middle - the first photo. After this last week of GD mum is looking up frangipanis and other plants discussed and planning additions to our garden! The empty area has now been christened the frangipani patch as it awaits plants!

Faye, you don't see the photos that get deleted - I take several photos of each flower as usually some are blurred, etc.

Many of my frangis are still only small and not big enough to take cuttings yet. I'm waiting to take pieces of that small pink so I can put a few more around as I love it.
