I have a new computer program that can collage photos! I was excited to try it out so put any picture in and it may be a bit messy! Will get better as I play with it!

very nice, thanks for sharing

if they don't they're weeds.

No worries Cheryl, I am having fun with computer and photos. Mum had a few comments as I added photos for colour and design effect rather than in any order as a gardener would do! Next time I will consult the experts!

Hi Faye, you have done an excellent job...all very colourful, lovely plants. Mum should have a go, she may find a new hobby.
I particularly love the arrangement of 'The Greens'...top job. What is the programme you are using?
Thanks Faye.

Well done. Great job. Artistically collage is harder than it looks. I think you did a terrific job. I enjoyed immensely, thankyou.

I like all of them - great job

I too would like to know what program you are using. I have a few different ones I can use but usually just settle for one I can copy, paste and move where I want as it is so quick and easy - the others give a better result but take a little more playing with when I'm in a hurry.

Hey thanks Karingal, Jacqueline and Gail. It was fun. Give mum a go! Ummmm I don't think so! Though she is doing well with posting to forums and sorting photos and emailing like an expert I don't think she is ready for absorbing how to use a new program as every program is a little different and it takes time to learn.

The new program I have I got from my brother and it is called Comic Life. See the web site. http://plasq.com/comiclife-win

I would like to get Microsoft Auto Collage 2008 as it looks the best collage program I have seen.

See web site - http://research.microsoft.com/autocollage/

For some reason I am unable to get the online store for AutoCollage to accept that I am in Australia. I think it is only available to US and UK customers at present. It is a very new program from Microsoft and I'd like it one day.

See some examples of what others have done with it on Flickr. These are what I call a collage!!!

I like the look of autocollage... might look into getting that myself one day.

Hi Faye, what is the cost of Microsoft Auto Collage 2008'?

I just had a look at the website and I wondered...could you download the 'free trial'?...I feel sure when the time expired they would have means for you to pay..lol..

Microsoft Auto Collage 2008 costs US$19.95 but the problem I have had is when I try to download it as a purchase it won't accept that I am in Australia so I can't get it to check out of the Microsoft Store in USA or UK sites. They don't seem to have an Australian store. I have emailed them and will let you know if they get back to me. In the meantime it is possible to download the free 30 day trial version from this site:
http://research.microsoft.com/autocollage/
Click in 'download' just under "Try It Now"
I managed to download this free trial one and have a go with it this afternoon. These are the first results. I picked any ol' pictures so I could trial it. Next time I'll do photos with a theme of some type. The three images are all made randomly by the AutoCollage program and I have posted all so you have an idea of what it does.

Yes you are correct. When the trial is up I will try to register and pay for it. I think the cost US$19.95is OK for what it does. As it says it is an 'auto' collage so it decides on the order the photos are placed. All you need to do though is keep getting it to rearrange the pics until you are happy. I still have to learn what it is capable of.

What beautiful photos Faye - so lush and colourful and tropical. I really enjoyed seeing them.
