I have one either side on the arch

if they don't they're weeds.

How lovely Cheryl. My Pierre (pink) is very slowly growing and now is only 40 cm high - up on the chook house in a good possie. Oh well.

I planted a red Pierre and noticed Ellie had eaten much of it the other day. Oh well ..........

Yes Pamela, my pink one was very slow, but the red one, boy o boy and one good think it will grow back

I think it would have to be getting close to the 200 now and we are not talking totems

I dead headed both of them yesterday and took quite a bit off as well, full of bloody PM and plus we had the best ever thrip infestation as well, so after the show, chopped 80% of the roses off and into the 240ltr. green waste bin. It is chockers

My two pierres were the other way around... pink has almost reached the roof of the house in one season and red is about half way up... both looking good atm too. Red has JUST flowered today and pink has many buds and is racing for the gutters.

Lucky you, that's something we cannot do here is have any part of plants on any part of the house as the Termites would use them as a shield..

I am thrilled with my PDR.
While it is bruised and full of thrip, its now well established on the wall.It has taken a bit more than 2 years to get up there!

Here is a pic:

I too have remove all the flowers with thrip, I had a friend over today so I waited till she had seen them.

My Red Pierre is a bit slower ,its about 2 years old.

Cheers Michelle

Roses for ever.

Wonderful Michelle. I wish my Pierre was as beautiful - maybe in another year or so?
