Does anyone know any sites that have lots of ideas for recycling household products for the garden?
I'm still writing school garden news for the school newsletter and like to put in some sort of recycling hint or tip in each week but am running out of new ideas. I've already done all the usual ones such as re-using plastic containers as pots and all the other common ones you see around all the time - I've been doing the school garden news for 3 or 4 years off and on now so have seen most of them. I just want some of the less common ones now. I spend ages each week searching for ideas and it would be great if I could just find one or two sites with lots of ideas on. Or if anyone has any tips please let me know... please, please please, I'm on my knees begging It only takes me about 10 minutes to write the garden news but over an hour looking for ideas
The sort of thing I'm looking for is like the idea I posted about a few weeks ago for using an old golf buggy as a tool carrier, or something like using old pieces of hose, split lengthwise, to slip over axe, saw and spade edges to protect them when not being used... those sort of things.

Done that one... it's a good idea though, I do it too especially for cuttings.

Gail one i just used recently. Hope you haven't used it yet.
Cut up old venetian blinds into the correct size for a plant label. These blinds are made of UV resistant material and the labels will last longer then a plactic one. Use a permanent ink marker to write on them.

Done and done... I did say that I have been writing the garden part of the newsletter for 3 or 4 years so have used most of the more commonly known hints
