We have seen several native snails around here but not one quite like this big one. It is just an empty shell which my son found in the paddock. The usual ones we find aren't quite as flat. That is a normal size tennis ball next to it. I'm glad these guys don't like the vegie garden

Does anyone know a site where I can ID it? I did find one ages ago when I ID-ed another native snail but can't find it again.

My basic weeding rule: if they grow in rows they're flowers;
if they don't they're weeds.

Still haven't been able to find it. Surely there is one site on the net with the different native land snails, after all there are over 1000 different native snails in Oz!
