I've said the same myself about it being so pretty, such a shame it is a difficult to get rid of pest. I have been having the same problem.

I have actually seen people selling pots of it at the markets off and on over the years

Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit, wisdom is knowing not to use it in a fruit salad.

same here, I try to dig it out but this season when it pops up with get a little dab of round up painted on their leaves , I have try for 2 years and it is just spready around the garden beds, I've had enough

My basic weeding rule: if they grow in rows they're flowers;
if they don't they're weeds.

Goodness fancy selling it at the Markets Gail but then nothing would surprise me after what I have seen for sale all they say is, well its such a pretty flower.

Yes Cheryl all the digging and weedkiller does not even touch the surface of this pest..

You have to make sure you get every tiny little bulb out. It is better to do it at certain times of the year when they aren't making new bulbs though can't remember which time. My father used to have an old kitchen knife which he would use to get right down under the bulbs and lift the whole plant carefully out - miss one bulb and it continues
