Picked a few radishes and carrots this afternoon. I forgot that they were baby carrots and left them in too long...

Looks good

Sorry, that was such a short reply, the dogs decided they wanted to go out earlier than usual.
Even though the carrots are baby ones they still taste ok if you leave them too long. I'm going to pull the rest of mine out soon as I will need the room in spring. Most of the ones that are left are going to be forked or twisted so I will dice them all up and freeze them - it will be nice and quick then when I need them for tea.

I ate one yesterday it was a bit strong tasting Oh gee Gail I am getting to dislike orange veggies blame it on the pumpkins, I hope I don't have that problem with orange fruits like Mango as I hate Pawpaw. I will be very generous Tony can eat them all I would have only eaten them raw anyway.
Picked a big heap of Sugar Snap peas before, one lot finished the next two lots almost gone, the last one just starting to get flat pods on them now, I am so glad I planted these fours lots at different times..
Not like the assistant gardener who planted the entire packet of silver beet and rainbow chard and so close together, I only plant a few then there is always green for the chooks when the grass is gone. The plants are big now and I want to thin them out and put 2 or 3 plants by themselves so they can keep growing I wonder if I dug some up would they survive if transplanted any ideas .

I transplanted chard from a wheelbarrow into the new veggie patch and they where fine

No harm in trying. Just don't pull out the others until you find out whether the moved ones survive.
I haven't had much luck at all with sugar snap this year. Normally I don't have a problem with them and freeze heaps but out of 3 lots I only ended up with about 8 plants... and the bandicoots dug up 3 bigger ones I've given up on them this year and try again next autumn.

Wish we could...They are so nice raw and even steamed very lightly
