yes they are

Nothing to be about there has to be some amongst us girls that love fancy frilly things, if that is your hobby of course you would love it I was behind the door when they handed out those talents I am the plain type, but give me a fancy Camera now that would be a different thing. How I would love that ..

Yes we all have different loves - give me an animal any day - any animal and I will be happy. I have always been that way. I remember being given a "bride doll" when I was 5 at Christmas and disappointing every one when I said "I'd rather have a dog" and in fact it was not a lot longer after that that I got my first of many much loved dogs.
The world is a MUCH better place that we all are so different.

Different is good. But some people are really "different". I work with one! :)

She is one of the top 2 makers, well I consider her to be one of the best, big bucks though

He is a realistic looking one.
Have you heard of Vynette Cernik? She is supposed to be a well known maker of reborn dolls. I have seen some of her work (she is a local here and has does shows sometimes) and you would have trouble telling some of her dolls apart from babies. Even the Melbourne fire brigade has ordered a baby from her to make training videos. I was reading an article about her and how much work goes into making these dolls, it is no wonder that they are so expensive. Some people even want heartbeat and breathing sensors on them. There was a picture that went with the article showing her working on a dolls head - it looked so weird with a baby head sitting there but no body

That Top Link ...I cannot believe people are so stupid. Fancy leaving a life like doll in a locked car like that.
Nothing between the eyes..

To make things worse Mary-Anne, the doll was even in a baby capsule! I don't blame the police for breaking in though the car owner was upset and wanted to know who would pay for the damage. I think she should pay for it herself as the doll was realistic enough to fool two members of the public and two police. The car had been parked there for several hours in the sun, and the two people couldn't get a reaction from the 'baby' so the police didn't wait around, they did what they thought was right.

I agree Gail. She should pay for the damage and should feel very guilty that she caused distress. What a silly woman. What great police.

Tony reckons she should have been fined as well.. I agree.. Yes what about the stress to the people passing by and especially the Police. She is a public nuisance I am so glad the Police broke in to her car...
