I thought she was real and wondered what the joke was - thought you were implying you bought a child on ebay! I knew that could not be right.

You nearly trapped me into saying a blokie comment that would have had me grovelling on this forum for ages.
As it is we have a daughter in Mater Mothers at present. She has been there for a while now and will be allowed home until after the babe is delivered. She is just 34 weeks now...so while I am able to joke about such things...I agree with the serious side of the last post.

They are very realistic, and a beautiful doll like the others.
You have done the right thing by admitting you have an ebay problem, Cheryl, that is the first step. We'll help you through the withdrawal

Didn't see your post Daniel. Hope your daughter takes it easy now so all will go well. She won't get a chance after the baby is born. Looking forward to the proud grandfather photos and bragging

I was just thinking about how "easy" it is to have a baby and want to steer very clear of that little time bomb. But in phases...there is the "fun" of beginning, the excitement of the babies development and growth, the "joy" (cough) of birth, and of course the experience ++++ of the sleepless nights and watching the dear little human grow...oh, ooops, I am not usually very philosophical...must be the grandpa coming out in me...

Thanks girls. Don't give me 1/2 a chance or I might bombard you with photos of my first little princess who is powering on at 19 months heading for the big #2. Little Anna (in Canberra) will have a girl cousin in Maryborough shortly. And I could not be more proud.

I'd love to see some too We're all allowed to brag!
Daniel, actually for some people it is fairly easy to have a baby. I always had an easy time, longest labour, if you could call it that, was 5 hours - water broke then first 4 hours of nothing. Last 3 times I was only in hospital for 6hrs, 4hrs and 2&1/2hrs - I don't like hospitals, ahd such an easy time, and baby and I were fine so they kicked me out My youngest was a very easy baby, had to wake her up for feeds Mind you number 2 turned me into a walking zombie, he was awake so much (still a lousy sleeper at 15!) , 3 was a bit better as was 4. Number 1 was easy too and stuck to a routine from the start and slept through after a couple of weeks.
