I bought a packet of mixed heirloom tomato seeds from Eden a while ago. This is one that has grown well. I don't know which one it is, possibly Sunray as they sell that one. I put some Romas next to orange ones to compare.

The taste of the orange ones isn't terrific, a little bland but the colour looks good mixed with the reds and green zebras. It has a bit more gel than Tessas orange one.

Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit, wisdom is knowing not to use it in a fruit salad.

Looks like it may have been too late...perhaps Gail would need to look "really" inside. :)

Sorry, didn't get a chance to take a photo inside. There are more nearly ripe so will get a photo then.

Sorry, kept forgetting to take a photo when I cut a tomato so here it is at long last.

Nothing special about the taste but better than bought ones. Probably too much gel for gel-haters but gel doesn't worry me one way or the other.

Good to see the inside of one all the same.
