G'day everybody
Just found this forum, and I look forward to reading and posting on here.
I am mainly into tropicals:- Heliconias, gingers, palms, aroids, corylines, crotons, calathea etc etc

Hello Ed - nice to have a new face/ keystroke here :-))

I do not have any tropicals - used to have one bromeliad but the frosts got to it in the end. I am trying with a little poinciana tree that Gail sent me (which I will put an overcoat on in winter while it is small) but I think we have had too much rain and not enough heat but time will tell. Had some ginger but I think it has been overtaken with Wandering Jew which is now 2 foot high over 100 m x 10 m in a gully with probably many snakes in it which happens to be in my front acre and near my road/ path in so that seems pretty tropical to me and I plan to spray it as soon as this rain takes a break - it has grown in only a couple of months. Damn ...
