Richard I REALLY ENJOYED THE TOUR OF THR FLOWER SHOW. So different from tropical gardens .Made me feel cold looking at all the people in winter clothing when I do not even own a cardigan

Posted - 13/03/2009 : 17:50:23 Firstly we spent the day wondering around taken photos thinking( the GD girls will love this)sorry i think girls only now because i'm not seeing any other blokes posting here at all,so its me and the girls ok thats cool. Jackie and me arrived at 10.00am,and the place was full, first we headed to the food tent because we had headed away so early and had not had breakfast, yumm, came out many much full of tucker. Problem was there where was just too many people,we had to be home by 3.00,we couldn't wait for an hour or so to get into the marques,so we missed a lot. Next year,i dont know how you feel Di, but i think the best time to go is from 5.00 to 8.00 to actually see inside the marques that we didn't today, just too many people. Gail yes it was cool not cold, but about 15c,got home and it was 23c Thanks karingal we are a great pear and she makes a mean coffee, great girl and love her to bits.Love to know your first name if you are not keen to tell us here,i'm cool. Now for Cheryl, didn't bring home any goodies bar tucker in guts and a few pamphlets, good day Cheryl, looking forward to your Melbourne show

Posted - 13/03/2009 : 16:05:16 Oi Richard, you forgot to tell us what goodies you came home with ?/ I love the show bags at ours, get lots of samples and goodies, they are great value over here, I take my granny trolley with me I will be going to ours on April Fools Day , Usually spend at least 2 hours inside looking at all the floral displays and then have a quick bite and pop fizz, and then do all the outdoor displays and the stalls and sellers last that takes about 3 hours , by the time I get home I am stuffed
