Posted - 09/03/2009 : 16:14:26 Cant find my first post so I'll start again
Well this one will be shorter so please ask Q??, before Val got here I tidied up the front yard and dead headed a few roses as I have to keep them yummy when Val comes to visit as she is my main comp
Then I cleaned up the veggie patch all ready now for broc. and parsnips if not too early

When Val got here we had a chat and she checked out the new babes
Then off outside, Val mentioned she is going to make up a barrow so I's thinks better give her some practice

I fiddle farted around doing other bits n pices, then inside for lunch
After luch I thought I'd better make a barrow of bulbs as well, so we cleaned up lots of either jonnies or daffs, cant remember Tipped the old barrow out and forgot it was the one with the crappy bum

......cont. next post, aint loosing my thread this times

Posted - 12/03/2009 : 11:00:42 gosh...that looks great, val. looking at your bulbs...i immeadiately thought: swedes. now i need to go find a barrow to plant swedes in. then i need place to put it. small details. but i'm wondering...if i just fill the barrow with mixed plop...the swedes are going to love that, aren't they? think i'll have a peek at ebay.

Posted - 11/03/2009 : 20:18:00 I've already got another one thanks Cheryl LOL! It's one that is so badly designed it falls over when you push it. Just needs some drainage holes drilled in it, all organised ! Val |

Posted - 11/03/2009 : 19:15:45 Hi Tessa!! |

Posted - 11/03/2009 : 19:14:48 Well Cheryl has been trying to convert me to wheelbarrow planting for years - at last I succumbed !! There was nowhere else to put the bulbs that she gave me! LOL

I used recycled potting mix which was squirming with worms, so to stop the blackbirds having a picnic I covered it with bird netting. |
