Posted - 17/02/2009 : 12:46:19 I have lots it pots the the lovely MA sent to me, would it hurt to pop them into the garden now, I have so many bare spots to fill 
My basic weeding rule: if they grow in rows they're flowers; if they don't they're weeds.

Posted - 17/02/2009 : 18:33:04 Daylilies love it hot and can handle nearly anything you can chuck at them. Mine went through a very hot dry summer - high 30s/low 40s and hot dry winds - a couple of years ago without any watering and came through without a problem. Didn't have a lot of flowers but they were only young plants then anyway.
Knowledge is knowing a tomato is a fruit, wisdom is knowing not to use it in a fruit salad.
A ounce of common sense is worth more than a ton of intelligence.

Posted - 17/02/2009 : 13:49:13 I have all yours still in pots MA, might wait for a few days for the weather to cool of a bit and make a nice border with them Shame I never got more out of the bins knowing what I know now, they where fine in the hot weather

Posted - 17/02/2009 : 12:58:23 I dig up and plant anything anytime even from the garden beds give them a shower of seasol and just keep the water up to them, or just keep your eye on them they will be fine
